 The best type of thread to use when hand-sewing felt projects is embroidery thread.

    • It can be used as whole or it can be split into strands.
    • Comes in variety of colors to match felt project.
    • Can be used also as noticeable details to project.
    • Cost for thread is cheap.

Helpful Hint #2

The best paper to use as stencils for pattern cut out is card-stock.

  • Card Stock Advantages

    • Card stock paper is thicker and sturdier.
    • It will also last long for cutting out than regular paper. 
    • If you can Laminate card stock will help keep out moisture (Optional)
     
Helpful Hint #3 
The best option when cutting out patterns where two pieces are needed is to cut out both pieces out at the same time. 
  •  Cutting out of the Same Pieces at the Same Time Advantages.
    •  Pieces will match up better, when sewing together.
    • Also save on time.
